“How can I up my digital illustration skills?”

In October of 2025, after a year long hiatus from painting and art, I took it upon myself to again use the annual Inktober art challenge prompts as a chance to get back in the groove and work off some rust. For the whole month, I spent a couple of hours a day with a digital pen and Adobe Photoshop honing my skills and seeing where my imagination took the one word inspirations. This year I decided to have no limitations on style, color, or technique; giving myself complete freedom to take the prompts wherever they might go.
